connecting track segments!!?

When you record over and over on the same track, it separates each take on the same track, so if you click on take 1 it will not highlight take two, three or the rest of the track, how can I combine the takes to make it one smooth track? hope my question is clear.

Bing the track up into the wave editor window, highlight the entire track, right click on it and select "combine".

If ur in Sonar, then CTRL-LEFT CLICK to select all the pieces that you want in the final track.

From the EDIT menu, (I think), select BOUNCE TO TRACK - fiddle with the options and it will create a new track leaving the source stuff untouched.
