Hey guys I wanted to connect studio monitors to a laptop how do i do it? I was thinking about getting MAudio MobilePre interface for it is it a good idea?

YO. Ixnay on the Mobileprea....I have a laptop...and I know you probably want something light and portable...like I did in the beggining....all pretty and shit like a M-Audio FW410...to match my monitors...but you have two options...looks or substance. Save yourself much headache and get something like the Echo Indido I/O PCMCIA Card and a mixer. Then thank me....and bow....bowing is good...chanting is optional.

Puhace.

Now..........I like that!!!.. I didn`t know I can do that.. THANKS A LOT!!!

One problem is that I`m not sure how do i connect that Echo Indido I/O PCMCIA Card to my notebook? I got a Gateway 520s so I`m not sure.. This is my first notebook i`ve ever had in my life I always got myself desktops..

Look right there on the left side of your laptop...there should be a cardbus slot. The Indigo just plugs in.
