Connecting pre to VF80...

I just got an M-Audio DMP3. I see how to connect the mic to the pre, however it looks like I need some other type of cable to run from the pre to my Fostex VF80. The pre should be plugged into the mic iput on the recorder, correct? Whats the type of cable I need to get?

use a XLR cable same cable you use for a mic cable
