Ok here's the problem:
I"m trying to connect my Audiophile 192 to my 1204 mixer.
Right now I've got a connection from the 'control room out' into the 'Main in' of the soundcard. With that, I am able to record just fine, as the soundcard picks up whatever i record through the mixer.
I just bought a really good pair of headphones and decided that instead of playing back my recorded (or other) audio through my normal cheap motherboard soundcard (realtek), I'd like to output my sound from my AP 192, back into my mixer, and then listen to the output through the headphones jack on my mixer.
I've changed the settings in the control panel > sound menu, and everything in there is pointing to AP192 1/2. I've got something playing in iTunes right now, and I've opened up the little M Audio Delta control panel and it shows the meters with audio playing (green bars moving up and down).
So i've hooked up two lines from the 'Main Out' of my AP 192 and need to put these back into the mixer. For some reason, no matter where I plug them into the mixer, no sound comes out of the headphones (which are also plugged into the mixer). Can anyone help me with this? Is my way of thinking correct? Is this even necessary - and by that I mean, should I just continue to output my audio through my cheap onboard motherboard soundcard?
Any help is appreciated guys. Thanks.

, I doubt it's much difference from the two.
