Thanks Cheeky,
I did hook up the soundcard out to the tape in and it works great also, but with the the soundcard going into one of my channels (7/8), I have the fader control and all the other extras offered on the channel strip. I get zero bleed with this setup. And yes, now we can get on with recording.
