Congrats Lt Bob

Drew's been a bit off this year ..... I think the bullshit 'bounty' thing and the loss of Payton affected him.
Tonight he definitely was not his usual self.

And I also think they go downfield a bit too often instead of just rolling up those first downs.

The guys were open though. He either missed them or they dropped passes. Lance Moore drops a sure TD. Sproles drops a bomb. The run was working, we just got away from it to play catch-up. Hard to believe, but the defense actually played better than the offense.

Doesn't LT mean 'luscious tone" tho? General, would seem a de-emotion...

wow...well done Lt Boob....thats seriously cool even if the shark outfit wasnt :D

Congrats Bob!
It's always nice when your past catches up to you in a rewarding way. :)

We were together from the mid 70's to early 80's. It was a mostly original music band and in general it was a parody and comedy band. Stuff like the song about the band's sheep ..... "Truly Mae I love you for the wool on your back" ...... and a 50's doo-wop song about a love struck shark ... 'Jaws of Love ( I ate my baby )

I was trying to figure out what "Leboa" meant...?....so I Googled it and ended up coming across some YouTube videos. One of them is that "Jaws" song you mentioned.
Looks like you guys had fun doing that doo-wop-meets-vaudeville kind of stuff. :D

I think there are a few more on YouTube from that same show...

from what I can remember we did! :D

Those vids are super 8mm films from early 80's I think.
We weren't really doo-wop though ..... we did all sorts of styles. A lotta our tunes had a strong New Orleans 2nd line feel to them and some were country ..... texas swing ..... even disco!
We pretty much covered the gamut.

We also covered most consumable substances.
:laughings:

I've never known where LeBoa came from but in french wouldn't that mean 'The Snake' ?
They should call me LeBoa.
:D

Yeah...at first I also thought "leboa" had something to do with "snake", but then the "shotgun" part threw me off....though I guess back in the '70s, it all made perfect sense! :D
I'm sure every musician that played out back then was in at least one band with some kind of funky name.

I know it wasn't easy back than for club bands to do their own albums like it is these days, but some would occasionally get enough backing or just fund it themsleves to do an album...did you guys ever have an opportunty to do a record of your originals?

We did ..... did it in my living room on my Teac 3340. I still have about a dozen copies. It wasn't really a commercial product although the quality was pretty good. We just wanted to do one ..... probably oinly pressed a couple thousand copies and probably gave away as many as we sold.

As for Shotgun's name ...... the band had been together for a couple of years before I joined and was mostly a texas swing band ..... had a pedal steel player in fact! A really good one too.
When I joined the direction veered away from sanity!

Anyway ..... I think Shotgun was his nickname from even before the band so the Shotgun part is just what everyone already called him. The LeBoa part I have no idea where it came from. But since it was "The Livestock Show" we all had meat type stage names.
Git player was Eddie Brisket ..... drumber was Chuck Roast ..... bass player was Stu Meat and I was Steviewondercow. To this day I still use picks with Steviewondercow printed on them and it's also my e-mail addy.

Hey boob, did you play any guitar in the band or was it always sexy sax?
