Hey ditnoj........Looking back at your post, I think what you are asking about(besides the hard-drive partitioning), is how to set up your computer to have different user(or hardware) profiles. This way, if you are recording, you select your recording profile, that doesn't have anything you don't need, and when you want to do other things, you enable the other user profile, with the other components enabled.
