i have recently hooked up my computer to my stereo, and i get a buzz coming through the speakers.my computer is a gateway pentium 3 unit with a soundblaster audiopci 128d soundcard, i am using musicmatch jukebox 100' cables, connected to the computer by the green 1/8" stereo audio out connection in back of the computer that the monitor speakers are normally plugged into.i have it plugged into the tape 1 "in" jack on the stereo.can you give me any ideas on where the buzz is coming from?also,i tried to run my monitor speakers and my stereo speakers at the same time using a gold plated dual stereo headphone adapter, however, the monitor speakers do not work in this way.i only get sound out of the stereo speakers.is there another configuration that will work,or did i do something wrong?its kind of a pain to get to the back of my computer.one last thing.i have heard that there is a way to get hundreds of songs onto a single cd and still be able to play it on a regular cd player.do you know anything about this?any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated.thanks.

The only thing I can think of concerning the 100s of songs and a CD thing is that there are some CD players out there now that play MP3s off a CD. Then you could do it like that. You have to have one of those players though, it's not a function of the way you create the disc, but of extra things built into those special players.

Anyways, if you checked all your connections and they are tight, and the audio cables aren't running across power cords or anything like that, then it might just be the sound card is that noisy. How bad is it buzzing? Cause those soundblasters aren't known for being ultra quiet. OH, I just saw where you said you are using 100' cables. Is there any way you can try it with a shorter cable? That's a long ways to run any kinda cable.
