computer mics???

is there any way i could use a regular computer mic and still get not great, but good quality sound. im recording hip hop music.

You can get 'ok' sound, but nothing great (Depending on your onboard sound card of course). I would suggest having a go at it, and if you are serious - chipping in £50 and buying a cheapish sound card such as M Audio delta or similar. That would dramatically increase the quality.

What programme are you using? Or intending to use?
