Keyboard/mouse? I just use this old crappy beatup keyboard I've been using for years and I have a generic optical mouse.

So, nothing special?

An IBM USB keyboard and a Logitech trackball mouse (also USB, it plugs into a port on the keyboard and allows me to only have a single cable going through the wall to the isolated computer). It's a lot easier to plug a USB into a port in the dark than one of those mouse connectors! The trackball allows me to velcro the mouse to my keyboard shelf so it doesn't get tossed on the floor when I move the shelf in & out -- I have a Tascam US428 on the top surface of my desk and that makes life a little easier.

Microsoft Natural keyboard
Logitech trackball

Both are better for your hands and wrists than a normal K&B.

I just use the keyboard that came w/ mine.
I have 2 mouses tho, One normal ole mouse and a logitech optical cordless for when I'm to far to use the corded mouse.

I think one of these would be nice tho for those not so bright times....

Mine's a Genius wireless kbd & mouse.

They work well although the mouse batteries only seem to last a couple of weeks before needing a recharge

I use a basic IBM keyboard (overstock from work so I brought a couple home).
I swear by Logitech mice. I use an MX300, (USB/Optical)

As long as the keyboard doesn't make a click for every button pressed it's cool with me, I hate noise keyboards.

As for the mouse, one requirement is that it has a laser on it's belly. Optical mice all the way!
