compressor

Sssupp Leon.
What do you mean by mixing your music with a git comp? Are you referring to using your git comp to compress your signals going into your board? Do you want to use your Ibanez as an overall comp so after recording to mixdown?
Usually git comps are noisey when using as a recording comp.
I have a Zoom 505 guitar signal processor, but i would never use it as a overall recording compressor as it has too many limitations in recording.
Please clarify your question.

Can it help me at all with my recordings?my previous question wasnt specific.im just starting.thnx.

Basically itz exactly what MISTERQCUE said........ pedals tend to be fairly noisey and probly don't have as many options and probly won't sound as clean as a rack compressor. So, it technically is usable, but U probly won't be to happy with the sound that you are getting from it.

If you will be happy with it or not depends a lot on what other gear you have. It's probably better than no compressor at all, though, so YES, it can help you.
