compressor trouble.

Hi, my compressor is causing me to lose a ton of sustain through my amp. I have a 50w srate vintage combo. And http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Behringer-MDX2600-Composer-ProXL-Compressor?sku=182475 thats the compressor.

Out of curiosity, why do you feel the need to use the compressor then? If it does not sound better with the comp, ditch it.
