Are you using effects 2 on vocals? Can't remember right now how it works but in the record mode isn't it just a compressor then a multi effects engine later? To me all the multi effects are too noisy to use, but you can go through each one and find the culpret by turning off.

Shouda read your post better, you did say compression buzz. In it's default setting it should be pretty quiet but does make quite a boost in the signal.

Does the buzz occur behind the vocal or does it cut out when the vocal is there? If the latter, try sticking a noise gate in the way. If it is behind the voacl you need to try and eq it out before compressing. It is difficult to do if you are using it to boost the overall signal rather doing it to 'properly' compress though.

That's my buzz
Cheers

buzz lightyear

Hey guys thanks for the replies,
Dr., the buzz is there during vocals. Disappears when I disable the dynamics or during non vocal parts.
I've noticed the same buzz on another song when it appeared on a guitar track. I just thought it was the internal distortion I was using. This is the first time it happened on vocals.
Is there a way I could record a snippet and e-mail it so you can hear it first hand?
Ciao,
Jason
