David, the amount of pre-done rythms is much larger with the DFH Xpansion pack. Wait until it arrives...also, you can use the internal mixer, and re-route drums to different channels if you are looking to change the sounds that way. If you want more flexability, get DFHS....you do all the midi work, whether it's drawing in the pianoroll by hand, or using a keyboard. It has 5 or 6 different kits, and all are fine tuneable, as are mic placements and bleed.DavidK said:I now have EZ drummer, the expansion didnt come yet.
It certainly is easy.I have done two songs already. Its very good but very limited. It doesnt have much variety and there isnt a whole lot to mess with. Is there anything better, but easy?

DavidK said:Is superior compatible with EZdrummer?? Well I guess it has to be, since EZ does lay down a midi track. I could lay down the midi with ez then use superior to play the track. Couldnt I??![]()
Arent drum maps fairly standard? The drum maps work with my Yamaha synth, so I assume they are. Its pretty amazing stuff, EZdrummer and expansions are a good buy just to have all the patterns. It should be EZTravisinFlorida said:If the drum maps line up between the two it would work. If not, there are ways around it.

TravisinFlorida said:You do know that the superior stuff is raw where the ezdrummer samples are some what precooked?
Dogman said:I haven't found an easy way to drop a pattern from Ez-Drummer into DFHS....it might be doable, but I haven't really spent much time on it. In DFHS, I use a drum map that Metalhead pointed me to, and just use Ez-Drummer as is so far. I have built some pattersn in Ez-Drummer, so I can make samples to practice my acousric drums to. It's not hard to make patterns.
Anybody to post samples of DKFH ot EZ?
