The Solidtube is a much maligned beast. It comes with an internal pop filter. Removing it does wonders. I use NTK and I have used Solidtube extensively. They are both very good mics at the price point. They are both pretty easy to find for about $500. I could not think of 2 mics more different that use similar designs for similar purposes. The Solidtube is smooth and dark, and really likes a loud source, which will bring out its color. Put it in front of a woman belter with a bright or strident voice and it will rock. A mic for Linda Rondstadt. NTK is a lot brighter, and requires less SPL's to create its color. A very versatile vocal mic that is good on guitars. I think the 4060 is not as bright as NTK, or as dark as Solidtube, and is is less colored than NTK. As I said, how much color you get out of Solidtube depends on the SPLs. When you remove the internal pop filter, the mic becomes a little more sensitive, also, and the color kicks in at a lower volume level.
I think the 4060 is a better quality mic than either of the others, and it is about twice the price. If you can afford it, go for it. But I would also say that the Solidtube is an underated mic that most people don't know how to use.-Richie
