one of my computers is a compaq with a celeron prossesor. Is it true that sonar wont work with it? I was told something about the chipsets? Not compatable?

Sonar will work with Celeron-processors. I have personal experience. :)

Hum! I have a 1.2 gig celeron processor,512 mem,20 gig hard drive, and I can get it to run! Now,Im no computer expert by any means.I even had a gut who is very good with sonar try to get it running but he could not. Everything looks ok but if you hit play...nothing. It is set up like my other computer that sonar runs great on. The other is not a celeron. Its a pent 4. I was told that it is the celeron that is the propblem......I dont know. Any clues?? As I said everthing seems to be set up correctly.bit rates, latencey, etc. Dont know whats up! Thanks,Jim

Errr... the most important part is your soundcard. What soundcard do you have?

And have you run the waveprofiler in Sonar (under Options -> Audio). If that doesen't work, set the latency higher (that too under Options -> Audio and adjust the "slider").

Using WDM or ASIO-drivers? Try the other... ;)
