Comp CD Update 02/13/02

Ok I got in touch with the new duping/printing guy that Ed found, and his quote was almost half of what the original guy was going to be charging. I have decided to get as many sets made as possible, up to about 100.

I am shooting for the project to go into duplication next week. Turnaround time will be ~10 days. I'm not sure how much time I'm going to have to spend printing and stuffing jackets and getting mailers ready, but hopefully not too long. I will be reconfirming mailing addresses before shipping for those of you who ordered last year. Watch this forum.

EVERYONE: I am not accepting money right this instant. Please watch this forum. I will make a post when things are ready to go. I'll be collecting money and shipping very shortly. There should be few delays once I have CD's ready to go.

This experience, if nothing else should give you an idea of the work that Dave went through to produce and deliver all those 4-CD sets of Davemania. He didn't use a duplication facility. Sure- he slid out from under the considerable task of collecting and accounting for funds, but then his was a 4-CD set.

First, what is the compilation c.d.? Second, I went looking for some of your music and was blown away. Totally cool! I even listened to the noise because I have a fast connection and it played right away. Totally cool stuff. Third, I posted some stuff in the mp3 clinic and would appreciate any tips you would have for me. I would like you to be as brutal as necessary, I wont take it personal. I'll check back later.
