comments please

I like the guitar sound as it is. I actually use a mod pick to get as bright a sound as possible from my guitars so I'm probably not the right person to comment..
You do need to do something with the accompaniment -
Some defintion for the bass - it's very bottom end based - cut a bit from the low mids & boost the high end correspondingly.
The vocal recording seems good. Needs thickening a bit - dbl track or just a touch of reverb.
Is anything else going to be added? The song needs something to add a dynamic - whether it's a b/vocal, lead line, something.

I recorded it for my friend, who usually plays solo, but every now and then I play bass for him. He needed it for a demo he's doing, and because of this, I don't think there will be anything more added. He said he was thinking of picking up harmonica which I think might do the trick though.
