Comments about this mix?

Hi!

I finally had some time to post something in MP3 mixing.
I´d really like to receive feedback on this song (it´s just a portion, not completed yet)

Please consider that I´m really new at mixing, and also that I´m just an average musician who do this only as a hobby.

This is what I´m using.
-Instrument: Kurzweil SP3X for all tracks.
-Audio device: Audiobox USB - Presonus
-SW: Reaper
-Studio monitors: I don´t have at this time, so I just use some semiprofesional headphones. I´m planning to purchase a couple of KRK RP5G3-NA Rokit 5 Generation 3 Powered Studio Monitor, later on.

I believe that I may have issues mainly on EQ and high Peaks, in this case I think that the maximum peak is not so bad (reaching -0.1db or +0.0db), but this is just on specific parts of the song, while in the rest I have an inconsisten waveform with gains of -1.5dB or lower.

What do you recommend? Using some limiters on the final wave and also work on EQ? do you have any tip to improve the way I mix?

Try posting a soundcloud link. Many prefer not to download files.

I like the composition. The parts don't sound very realistic, if that's what you were going for. That organ sound that was doing what could have been a string pad had a scratchy sound.

Yes, I understand about the parts, being my synths a little bit old I wouldn´t expect something different.
But what about loudness and EQ? do you think it is well balanced?

I don't listen to a lot of that particular genre, so I'm not up on the aesthetic trends. It seemed balanced. I could hear all the parts. Nothing seemed overly loud.
