I use cubase for my vst's and compose on it too. for example, drum kits, guitar etc... my question is that..i have a cd of Prosessions loops..it contains lots of great loops..drum loops, techno synths etc...my question is that, if i compose the drum tracks and the tune myself on cubase, how can i make the loops by prosessions fit into my composed drum track and tune? its a very newbish question i know..but most people use ready-made loops nowadays..
do i have to match the tempo of the two different tracks? or what? please...i would love to get my question answered...thank u all.

my guess would be yeah, match up the tempos... thats really all i can come to from your vague question of "fitting in"

maybe if you elaborated a bit more on exactly what you mean by that

ok...say that u MADE a guitar tune yourself, alright...and now, u want an ultra cool drum beat from the Prosessions loops CD..so then u take a sample from there...but now, these two wont match together since their beats are different and maybe tempo. how can i really do this? cause i composed some stuff on reason(written track with my keyboard), but now i want to add a REX loop for tablas on it..but they simply dont go together. how can i fix this? u dont have to specific with reason but any other sequencers.

im not really too familiar with any of those programs, but generally speaking you would have to find the tempo of your guitar riff...

if you dont know it, or have no means of finding out, then you could just go into one of those programs and make a simple ass drum beat, and then re-record the guitar.. (while the drums are playing) this way you will KNOW what tempo youre starting with...

then you could change the tempo of the loop you want to use, to match the tempo of the guitar riff.

hope this helped.
