Collaboration anyone?

Hi. I make rock/ pop music R.E.M. / Beatles sounding stuff.

I have no keyboard and I don't play drums, and need to spice up my homemade music.

Are there anyone who would be interested in doing a collab, record some drums or keyboard on my newest track?

I have a cwb (cakewalk bundle file) out for download. (Sonar 2.2).
The song is now recorded with some drums loops, and a generous other user is adding a new bass track.

Would be cool if you where up to it.
If you want the project file in another format than cwb, or have other questions or remarks, please let me know.

If you want to listen to the song as it is now:
R2OS - Teardrop (109 bpm)
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/7/r2osmusic.htm

the bundle file (56 MB) is at:
www.akeleje.dk/cwb/R2OSTeardrop109bpm.rar

Most will want you to render them as .wav files, or high bandwidth mp3...

Sorry, I can't play either one very well. But have bass will collab...

Wave files...

Thanks, point taken. Shall I then make a wavefile of the song without the drumloops?

I think for timing's sake, and so that it stays tight, you should leave the drum tracks on there, or add a click track.

I like the song, but you've got to fix that timing issue at the beginning.

What is the timing issue?

Do you mean the 7/8 to 4/4?

your guitar playing is behind the beat of the drums....i think that's what he means

That is on purpose, it's 4/4 over 7/8.

I don't think so, if you actually count it out he goes off beat about half way into the intro, 2nd time around it's fine.

Ok, I'll have a look/listen. Thanks

Need a drummer?

I didn't listen to it yet, did you still need a drummer?

That would be cool. Thanks for replying...

Please let me know if you want any other info...

Just fooling around:

the only thing I like is the ending chord progression and some of the pitchbending stuff
