Hi all,

I'm new here, but not really new to home recording. I've recorded a few dozen songs over about the last 9 years or so.
I'm wondering what is the proper part of this forum to seek collaborators.
Like, if I have a song that is just about done, but it could use some live drum work--and there is a drummer out there who'd like to help out, is there a certain part of this forum to discuss that?
In general, I occassionally need some help with drums, bass, lead guitar work or keyboard work. Sometimes I do those things myself, it just depends on the song.
In the past I have worked with friends over the internet on songs by sending them a wav file with my tracks on it, so they can play along. Once they'd recorded their bass or keyboards or drums or whatever, they send me that wav back! That is what I'm looking to do here. I also give back! I have recorded guitars and vocals for other songwriters and musicians over the internet too! If you'd like an idea of what I do check out my songs on myspace: http://www.myspace.com/mikeedison3sexes

There's no place currently to post about collaborating, however, you can post an mp3 in the MP3 Clinic and ask for collaboration there. Probably the best place to do so.

I think a collaboration section has been discussed between the mods and administrators in the past, but no final verdict. I'll bring it up again.

Thanks and welcome to the site.
