Anyone up for a bit of collaboration?

I'm throwing this version I recorded of the BB King tune, The Thrill is Gone, out on the web to get some good singers to lay down the vocals.

Anyone that is interested, just record your vocals over the backing track.
Then post a reply here with a link to a .mp3 somewhere on the web so I can download it and have a listen to the song with your vocals.
If I end up liking the vocals, I'll ask for a .wav file of just your vocals.
A 16 bit 44,100 khz .wav file is fine.
I'll add your vocals to my mix and create the final mix.

Thanks, hope to get some good stuff.

Here's the backing track
The Thrill is gone - backing track

There's different versions, here's the lyrics I would like used, if possible, or something close to this.
Feel free to add some personal style.
The lyrics

Signal chains:
The lead parts are my 18 watt Reverb Stout tube amp combo
into the Palmer PGA-04 speaker simulator
into the computer sound card
into Guitar Rig for effects

The background clean stuff is my AB763 combo
The guitar on the stuff above is my 80's Jap Strat

The background overdrive stuff is Guitar Rig and my Ibanez JS1200CA guitar

It has been sent Dog !! Thanks !! :D

I just wanted to be sure and add....some kick butt guitar playing on this !!! Awesome EL ~!!!!

Your playing sounds familiar....I am trying to figure it out. :D

Well, here's an attempt I did while taking a break from doing a Sabbath tune.... :D

I don't really have a voice for this, but wanted to have some fun anyways....

Cool tune.

Thrill

Thanks man. I might play with it more tomorrow, but it's getting late here....

It's hard to hear you! The vocal is kind of buried... :(
Yah, I am going to mess with it tomarrow and bring up the vox, but I really do like that the axe stands out more. This is some great playing. I also like the live sound of how it went...like in a bar or something...just needs some tinkling glass and a few drunks shouting. :D

You have got a voice for the blues Dog..deep, dirty blues  ...just a little accentuation on the soul and damn man, you'd be a killer for this.... :) :)

I must repeat myself about the axe playing...it kicks ass!! Gives me shivers and quivers. :D

Dogman, thanks for the tune, I like it. Your voice sounds like a cross between James Hetfield and Tom Waits on this.

True, I'll download your a bit later, got to work. Thanks for the guitar comments.

True-eurt,
Very nice, I like the way you are approaching this. Nice voice!

See if you can get a another take track that is more up front/louder. You are kind of buried in the background on this take.

If you feel like/want to try another take, just send me the .wav file of your vocal track only and I will add it to the mix and post the .mp3 back here again so folks can hear it.

I agree. Get True's voice up there where it can cream that track. Great stuff.

Dogman: you have such a mean sounding voice for such a nice guy! Also classic stuff.

Thanks man....Jim Beam and cigars.... :D

Dog has that whiskey voice all right, I like it too.

I wonder what it would sound lik if you did a take with your face buried in the lovely cleavage of your avatar? :D

Agreed, truly evil in tone! That voice conveys, "The thrill is gone so I'm going to sever your head!!!!" :D :D How could this be edited to make it a duet?

Nice guitar work EL34.

Tim
