Sounds like it might work. I'm not even sure if what I'm trying to do is the "norm" for recording vocals. When a vocalist is in a booth and recording vocals to a song, are they using headphones specially made to prevent the music from bleeding into the mic? Or is this something that is just usually taken care with waveform editing after the vocal track's been laid down? I was always under the assumption that "closed back" headphones were phones designed to prevent sound from leaking out for this purpose, maybe I was wrong though.
