Clipping when using certain programs

Does anyone have any experience with East West Quantum Leap Stormdrum 2? I'm using the Kompakt version. It seems that when i have 3 or more instruments loaded up with gets really garbly and the sounds just kind of stall. Maybe it's a buffer problem or a problem with my computer itself?? This stuff is new to me...

Forgot to mention... i'm running an HP computer with 2.9 Ghz quad core processor and 4GB of ram.

also Windows 7... not sure if that makes a difference...
