Hey there ive just received my copy of sonar 7 the producers edition. I am running it through a new laptop Acer Aspire 5349. and using the fast track M-audio interface. Every time i click the button to the left of the R (arm for recording) its the one that looks like a signal icon, and during play back of that recording i am getting a constant ticking sound. I am totally lost how to sort this. I dont understand technical terms so please anyone kind enough to help with this problem make it understandable for kids lol. like were to find things that i will need to click etc step by step you know ;) Thank you to anyone who helps it is very much appreciated :) :guitar:

I think you just have your metronome set to "play while recording". :D
There should be a button somewhere on the interface to turn it off.

I suggest reading this for more info, as I'm not familiar with that DAW. Metronome in sonar is driving me crazy
