aight, I finally hooked everything up, sound is working yada yada...

brilliant me only bought one RCA cable, luckily I had some in storage...well, I got 4 1/4" instrument cables...plugged two into the delta outs 1/2...and into my line ins on my mixer, then I took the other two and plugged them into the delta ins 1/2, and into the control room on my mixer...plugged the RCAs into my speakers, and into the tape outs on the mixer...

now...whenever I click play in Cool Edit Pro 2.0, or Cubase, I hear a pop as the sound comes in...my levels are all below 100%...anyone got a solution?

What Mackie ? Anyway, you better route the mixer's Aux send 1/2 (NOT controll room out) to line in 1/2 of your card. Make sure you mute every channel's aux out, unless you're recording sumthin' to PC through the mixer. Otherwise, it'll feedback.

As for speaker, simply :

Controll room Out --> PA --> Speaker.

Winamp...? we can talk more about that... :)

About the Click, pops, and Winamp... I think it related to your card / windows drivers. Not the Mackie.
