Okay, I know this may sound pretty dumb, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best way to clean the RCA Connectors in the back of my multitracker?

Thanks!

Dave

Okay, your right: there are no stupid questions. But I'm sure I'll make you wonder when I ask what is Caig Deoxit? Is this an actual product or....?

Yes. Caig DeOxIt is a spray that cleans up connections. It used to be called Cramolin. You can get it at Markertek, Mouser, or your local electronics supply store (NOT Radio Shack!).

Spray a little on the male connectors of an RCA cable, and insert and remove from your recorder's jacks a few times. A little goes a long way. Don't spray it into the recorder, as electronics generally don't like large doses of Deoxit.

Thanks! I really appreciate yours and everybody elses help and patience! I will get by the store and get some of this stuff and follow the advice. Again, I really thank you all!
