My latest song performed on 91 Takamine CP-132S classical guitar, i play with finger tips, no nails. Solo guitar recorded in half finished basement with carpet, with two matched pair of MXL 603 mics, one pointed at area behind bridge, and one just after the 12th fret, into FMR RNP preamp, and then audiophile 2496 card, Audition 1.5, a tiny bit of reverb added, nothing else, no noisce reduction, etc.

Both mics are about 2 feet away from guitar.

Song is called "Las palabras no pueden expresar"

Nice sound. I think the 603s' compliment the nail-less right hand technique.

Very nice indeed! Good job. Full mellow sound. I enjoyed it.

Allthough I have no clue micing guitars; your's sounds great to me. Good stuff.

Hey..thank you all for listening and the feedback. Yes, these mics suit the playing method and acoustics of the guitar. These mics tend to be on the "bright" side. This guitar played with flesh tend to give a mellow deeper sound, the brightness of the 603s i believe evens the sound out.

Thx.
