Seriously though. Not coming has really made people think here things are going t*ts up in the US.

That's a fair and honest assessment of what is happening here in the U.S.
It's understandable that elected politicians are always at odds with each other after reneging on the promises they made to their constituents to work in a bipartisan fashion.
