lol that's great. Merry Christmas to you as well :)

but, it sounds like you sang the original vocal line, and then just chose four intervals to sing the same line at. like you transposed it almost. that method sounds alright, but if you want to really make harmonies shine, you'll orchestrate the vocal harmonies so that though each voice is singing a note that helps to make a vocal "Chord", each individual line is different.

It's sort of has a Barbershop quartet style, but without the harmonizing-but hey-thanx for the thought, I've sure spent enough on gear this year........

Thanks. You're right about the harmony as far a making it RIGHT. I don't know theory as far as music goes, so I wouldn't be able to map it out on paper to do what you're talking about, but I do know enough to layer them where they sound o.k. with some duplication on some of the notes. One of these days I'll learn some theory to be able to do this. For now, I'll all by ear and feel. :)

well, it would take a minumum of theory and a minimum base of sight reading. if you ever get the desire to learn it, i can teach you what i know, (which is just barely the fundamentals of vocal orchestration.)
