ok, I got 6 Christmas songs done. I think that's all I'm doing. I'm going through right now to make sure there are no mistakes I missed. I also noticed that 3 of my songs have pretty much the same intro, so I guess I'll have to change that.

I never ended up putting the viola and cello to any of these songs because it was just more work than I wanted to put into it, and I actually had a deadline for this one. Putting 6 of my piano songs back to back sort of emphasizes the fact that everything I play on the piano sounds the same. Oh well.

Critiques welcome, although I probably won't have time to change much, other than the redundant intros. I'll put up a link so you can download them too, if anybody cares to do that.

oops. Somebody told me you have to sign up for imeem to listen to these. I'll post them somewhere else.

I need iTunes to download it - I HATE iAnything.
Please drop it onto soundclick or something.

you don't need itunes to download them, they are mp3s. You can stream them from here, or download them directly from here.

But yeah, I ended up putting a lot of posts with a lot of links, so sorry about that. Is there any way I can delete some of those posts?

Listened to the first song. Sounds pretty good. dont have time to listen to the rest right now.
You play rockenroll?

Hey, I'm assuming these were recorded on an actual piano? I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to keys, but this sounds really good.

The verb on "Do you see what I see" is beautiful.

Ditto for "What Child Is This"...

I like the pace you took on "Oh Come All Ye Faithful"

"Little Drummer Boy" is my favorite Christmas song. Nice job.

Can you explain how you recorded the piano? (if it's a keyboard, feel free to tell me I'm an idiot).

And for everybody who doesn't have a favorite Christmas song, you totally do. :D

I think this is great! Really, really nice. If its a MIDI piano, you fooled me. Great work!

eh, I just used Akoustik Piano. As much as I'd like a real piano, they're too big, too loud and too expensive (and vst instruments are just so bloody easy).

Oh, and thanks for the listen. It's good to hear that it isn't too lame. It took every ounce of energy I had to not play "Oh Come all ye Faithful" exactly like all the other songs on there.

That was good. I thought it was a real piano! Have you tried out the piano vsts from EastWest?
