Beatz for the Streetz
((( Chop Shop Productions )))) - Drama Lord

This one is a little dark. A chopped up piano with a violin change up and a nice complex percussion track. This one is for those Hot Brooklyn nights ... Feel me on this one.

Let me hear your opinions....
And leave a link to your latest for my peeping......

DAMN I need DSL!

You might already know what I'm going to say, well... maybe not.
I think the beat is tight, especially the drums, ...but... I think you might(if possible) Want to time stretch the piano sample in the spot where it changes so that part comes in a little more on the beat, did I confuse you?

Also, I could barely hear the bassline.

That drum beat is off the hook.

Thanks for taking the time and the props.....

I not sure I understand where you want me to apply the time stretch... and I don't think the I put a major bassline to this track but I will check the it out...

Thanks again bro...

I might have just thought I heard a bass line in the strings sample.

Let's see, The piano sample has three key changes, the second time it plays, you hold down the key long enough for it to play all three changes, the last one comes right before you let go. It's that last change that comes in a little early, if you were to stretch that last change a little, I think it would flow into the string sample a little smoother. Not that I want it to overlap or anything, just so the piano doesn't leave a little space before the strings come in.

I hope I didn't confuse you more.

I got ya now.... Makes sense what ya sayin... Yeah ima look into that kid.. Thanks...

Man! I'm surprised I actually got it out clear enough for someone to understand, Good:cool:

I'm digging it Rat. I'm listening on my crappy laptop speakers which don't have any bottom so i can't say nothing about the bass. Everything sounds cool to me. You might wanna turn the piano down a notch just to make things blend a little better. It sounded kinda choppy to me at first listen but after a second listen i think it was just the piano level. Might just be the speakers and i need to hear it with somelow end. Keep em bangin out doc. Peace.

Thanks Beath and Lazi for the insight.... This really is helpful when I can borrow some ears... It really helps ....

Thanks again....

bangin' out another hit I see.......I'm feelin' it.......two things though.....bring up the bassline(if it even has one) If not ignore that.......like Lazi said I think the piano is just a TAD too loud drumtracks are always tight with you so I ain't got nothin' for that
otherwise a tight joint.......hey it actually DOES remind me of a hot Brooklyn night (I used to have peeps up there and I checked 'em every weekend.....this was years ago)
