choosing a patchbay

a nice one tha isnt behringer? lets here some suggestions?
 
Another vote for the Neutrik - Assuming you're looking for a basic cable-connection bay -

or something .. im not 100% with patchbays yet .. but i know enough to buy one and learn by using it
 
I like my Switchcrafts. Long frame brass with rear connections that have to be soldered. Not only are the connections more reliable, I saved a ton of cash on connectors I didn't need for the back. The most expense on putting in a patchbay is cable.
 
alright thanks .. im not sure if i want to soilder yet though ... that neutrik doesnt require any soildering right?

Not unless you're making your own cables:). I own two of the Neutrik bays; they work great.
 
I use DBX PB-48's. The Neutrik's would be my other choice.

Make sure you get a balanced/unbalanced patchbay, they are much more useful. Some of the Behringers are unbalanced only, so watch out for that if you go that way.
 
I love the Neutriks. I own two. You can change the boards on these without taking it out of the rack, which is a plus.

I also ordered from zzounds.com, and I find living in CT I get stuff from them next-day with the free UPS ground. Can't beat it. I don't even go to the music store anymore.

yeah thats cool .. i think im gonna go with the neutrik .. seems like it has alot of fans on this board
