choices for 8 in recording
Okay. I need to make a decision. Its between the ada8000 with an adat card in the computer (probably the ews88d), or a nady 8 channel PRA-8 linked to the 8 line inputs of a 1010lt. I need opinions/pros/cons on these two options.
Is that cheap Nady unit going to sound really really bad?
Does anyone make a better 8 channel preamp that doesnt cost much?
I just feel like im going to get better sound with the m-audio card. Am I right, or will the low quality nady preamp affect my sound worse than the a/d conversion ?
