Choice of Recorder

If money was not an option and you were using a regular behringer analog mixer would you purchase a Tascam Dp-01 8 track recorder or a Fostex MR-8 8 track recorder?

Given the narrow framework of your question, I'd pick the Tascam DP-01.

At least the DP-01 has an internal hard drive, and the "knob section" for mixdown. There's real EQ on the DP-01. The MR-8 has none of that.
