I've attach one of my first recordings using my new equipment. This is a hip hop artist I know. I have 2 mixing projects working on now so I'll post those when I'm done as well for critique. Don't worry about my feelings you all can take the gloves off with me. I look forward to your comments.

Now Thats A Good Song!!!! -- Im Peepin On My Laptop So Not Sure About The Drums . . . But The Track Is A Winner, The Song Is "ripe" For The Radio1!
 
I know I'm late as hell but good looking on all the comments yall. I didn't make the beat but I'll see if I can eq up the track to make them snare more snappin. That track actually got too much bass on the drums, you'll have to bump in the car to what I'm talking about. It's too much on the lower freq., u know bass you can feel rather than hear.
 
Naw cuz. I doubt you'll be able to eq that to make the drums punch. You got two options. You can try to get the original producer to track it out, or you can add some more drums on top to give it punch. Nice track tho homie.
