hey check my song out on youtube its not fully completed and not an awesome quality but i did what i can with the mic so tell me watcha think :)

The piano is a bit "thumpy". I don't mind the affected vocal at first, but with the thumpy piano the song never shows any sign of expression.

The pitch correction, is only used in the beginning and the chorus, thats it :).. ohh yea i know the mix needs a little help .. but i mean its my first project :P

You've got a decent pop tune there pj (bit of a Postal Service feel), but I would really ease off on the autotune. How does it sound without - is it there to correct the pitch or as a vocal effect? If it's the former, I'd work on nailing the parts of the melody you're not currently hitting and if it's the latter I'd go for something other than a vocoder effect. They're so overused, and a bit hackneyed now.

Strong melody though.

Thanks for your feedback rob green, this was my first project and yea i used it as an effect.. the problem is i have a shitty mic, so without any effect at all my sound sounds muffled and stuff... I used izotope nectar which has a built in pitch correction effect.. as far as it was in original form, it was in tune but nectar automatically applied the effect so the next project is gonna be with a better mic :)

not bad, next time attach the mp3 on the forum or something, seemed like the tune suffered a bit from the highly compressed audio of the you tube video.

yea i think so i mean the mix sounds okay on my monitors, but still i need a better thanks for all the feedback :)
