Hey Carter, welcome to the mp3 clinic. I listened to the first song. Good EQ balance... like I mentioned re your preliminary mix the low end in this genre often is overdone IMHO and here it's beefy but balanced. Sounds like a lot of compression in the vox. If so, I'd lessen it... just my own taste.

Thanks Tim, I did compress the vox a bit I'll take a listen when I get home....I think it;s because its a MP3..... the second track is a client of mine...

Listening to #1. Sounds good although the mix is off to one side in the panning. I would try and get the same levels for the left and right channel. Im thinking the vocals should be out in the mix more although the backing isnt that overpowering. How did you record the vox? Could maybe do with dampening your vocal room before tracking. Just a guess, but sounds like i can hear the room which will make the vocals harder to get out in the mix like this genre works with.
