Hey guys...my song finally got posted to MP3.com - Fall Into Memphis

I don't know if it's my computer speakers (subwoofer up too loud or what) but I'm not entirely happy with it...I tried adjusting some EQ before ripping....

I feel like there are bass overtones on the acoustic - frequencies I don't like...at the same time, I had to add bass to the track to give it a bit of defination - the second chorus feels like it swells in and out and I can't quite pin it down.

So give it a listen, and throw out suggestions....at least I like the song, which is a start...but it sounds cool with a band too.

My other grip is that I did it with an NT2, and now I want to redo it with my NTK...yummy microphone.

Long song. Sounded good on my crappy system though, which is a pretty good acid test.

Are those some kind of strings in the back. Sounds good whatever it was. I thought the song was a little long but didn't find the legnth of it that disturbing although 6 minutes would have probably been sufficient. The lyrics were cool too.

the vox sound very good to me.

The guitar is also good to me.

I can hardly hear any bass on these phones though.

I like your singing voice and the song.

It sounds like a homerecording. But in a good way

well, I guess that's better then it sucking...I was kinda of shooting for the Damien Jurado sound so it's about right...that'll teach me to use the Mackie Preamps..

It'll be better with harmonies thru my new NTK and a bit better guitar
