If you build basses why wouldn't you just do a quick fret level and be done with it? I don't understand paying under $200 and expecting perfection?

there is nothing quick about a proper fret leveling/ crowning job
and yes despite how much money I spend on something I expect it to be playable. I have spent less and got better playing instrument than this that had much better workmanship as well.

I will give a big Thumbs up to Rondos customer service, they handled my claim promptly with no questions asked
for that I will more than likely do business with them again.

LMAO
that is the most idiotic thing I have ever heard!
It would be more likely that the neck would get shimmed before mutilating the body:rolleyes:

Well now it's the most idiotic thing you've ever seen.

1973 P Bass with DIY bridge route

This was posted on the local craigslist with a link to the pics. As far as I know, a Badass bridge is supposed to be a bolt-on modification to a Fender bass. For whatever reason, some champion decided to route the body out to sink the bridge 1/4" or 3/8" into the body.

For the record, I suggested doing this to a $125 SX bass, not a vintage Fender (regardless of the era).

what a fookin moron!
I wonder if he knows that he just ruined any potential to resell the bass for what it would have been worth before he mutilated the bass?
