i wrote this yesterday and i was woundering what you thought, it was my 3rd time playing it when i did the recording.....but what do ya think?
oh yeah, the songs called "i slip in"

 
Hard to hear what you sing. It's low. The quality of the vocal and the guitar playing ain't good. How about tracking the guitar first and then add the vocals afterwards? That way you might both play and sing more steady and can mix it a tad so the vocal comes more forwards.
I don't think it's a catchy tune.

alright alright, im sorry, i was in a bad mood, and i wasnt taking it the way i should have. he was just giving his opinion, and i asked him to. so i apologise, i really do,......wont happen again.

It's more your problem if you cannot take critics on the level you obviously are at now. I mean I went easy on you. The quality of your piece could easily bring out more damaging artillery. Get used to it and keep on making music.
And BTW, you were lucky that Jake didn't listen to it. Coz he speaks from his liver and I have a slight idea he wouldn't find your piece good :rolleyes:
