hey check out this mix of my band i think its pretty good.. we are a metal band..so.. be prepared. lol

First thing i noticed was noise at the start, not a big fan of the hat intro. Pretty nice guitar sound, nice scream, dont like the bass sound, bass drum sounds okay untill the double bit comes in. Lots of it is out of time. Mostly a reasonable mix but i'd bring the drums up a bit. Im a huge metal song but this song is boring and badly played.

Sounds like you almost have the guitars sounding real good.
Take some reverb off them to get a tighter sound. Think if you used a little less distortion and less lo end or mids at tracking you might get a cleaner sounding guitar tone. Although you could try boosting the hi mids and cutting some lo mids to clean up the sound.
Volumes of the tracks in the mix dont seem right. I would spend more time setting the volumes. The drums need to come up a bit and sound a bit too compressed, the attack has been dampened if you know what I mean.
Niceley tracked all in all, but work on the mix more and you should get a pretty decent mix.

I totally agree about cutting the hats and noise from the front, start on the guitar, and I think the snare could be up a little more at the intro. Last thought on the drums, the double kick sounds a little thin, might just be my listening environment but it's not matching up with the snare in terms of level and bump. Try starting with a flat eq, cutting everything below 100hz and bring it back in until it sounds how you want it to.

The vox are mixed well, as is the bass, a creative idea, about two thirds through at the break down, when the singer does his two screams, I'd love to hear some effect to fade those screams at the tail end into the guitar lines, like slowly adding distortion over say 6 seconds... it sounded like you put some flange on at some point. final thought, maybe a harder ending, something abrupt, as it is it just kind of sounds like the band went home.

overall, it rocks, good stuff.
