Erland, you have fans here that you know nothing about. I have a select few true music lovers that I share your recordings with; I hope you don't mind. I won't mention specific numbers, but the general consensus is that this is your best to date. I'm talking about the song itself...most of these folks wouldn't know an SM58 froum a '58 Buick.
I'm thinking of starting a record label with Alibish. Wanna' sign a really lopsided contract that'll basically allow me to sell you to a major for some whorish amount of money that you'll never see?

It took a while, but I got the song downloaded
I've listened to it 10+ times today and I just love it.
I was out driving around singing it to myself and whistling the melody.

Erland, I haven't heard your previous material, this sure does sound good for a first attempt with a condensor. Your vocals are very well tracked and well mixed. Great job getting the vocal up front and warm with enough reverb to bring it to life.
As others have mentioned, the guitars are suffering a bit from lots of low frequencies, though the stereo panning helps with it some. I'd start by low cutting the secondary guitars and leave the main ones alone. With no bass guitar the full spectrum sounds nice- it just gets cluttered with gunk when so many tracks have it on full blast.

Just wanted to let you know that I definitely agree about rolling the lows off of the guitars. It wasn't as apparent on my monitors with a flat EQ as it is in my car. On regular systems that boost the crap out of the lows and highs, it's a problem.
