My good buddy kevin recently recorded his band, and i couldn't have been more impressed with the work he did. As far as i know, he was using a Digi002rack, no preamps (only the ones in the 002) or compressors (maybe for the lightmix he used a plugin). The songs he has up aren't mixed and mastered since they don't have a vocalist right now. I'm just posting this because i really was impressed when i heard what he has been doing with such little (and cheap) equipment he had to record with. He said the average cost for most of the mics he used was under a hundred dollars. But anyways, check them out and let me know what you guys think.
