Sounds like a nice sounding kit you have there. Could do with a good bit of processing to get it sounding really good.
Are you a drummer?

ummm....why the thumbs down?

anyways...does sound like a good sounding kit. I would agree it would probably need some processing to fit right into a mix. It would kind of depend on where you were going with it ultimately I'm sure.

Cool. Thumbs down?
I was just voicing my opinion and im sure alot of people hear will also voice the same opinion.
The snares dynamics are all over the place so alot of compresion would be needed to get a more consistent sound unless you are doing something with dramatic dynamical changes.
Hard to say the drums are good unless they are in with the rest of the mix.

I agree with the other 2 opinions. It's a nice sounding kit, but you'd have to play around with some compression and eq. The toms seem to have more lo end than the bass drum, but I like the snare sound. Volumes have to be adjusted a little bit, but overall it's a very good start.

So wheres that review you were gonna do on my track Rami?
Get a move on ya slacker, ive got three tracks up on the same page! :)

Floor tom hits a lot harder than the kick, unmute the kick a little, let it breathe. I like the way the toms resonate/decay. The ride cymbals sound a bit mushed by comparison. Sounds like the tom and kick mics are closer in than the snare mic; there's more air under the snare, and not quite as sharp an attack as the toms. hats sound fabulous. I'd consider tightenign the snares a little; but I don't like em rattly; that's just a personal choice thing.

Good base setup, a little minor level tweaking, and evening out the kick/tom relationship and you've got it!

I wanted to only make a test of recording with my set

Well, you succeeded there, I'd say.. Any details on mic positioning?

Yes, I think we undertood that. So, if you put up a thread saying "check my drumrec", wasn't it so that people woiuld comment on it? Or were we just supposed to listen and leave this thread totally blanK???

Hello?

the drumbass is close and put in front of head, in the tom I have put the microphone at a distance a lot near for the tip

I think I know what your going on about. YOu werent playing the drums properly like a proper solid beat. You were just hitting them softly as a test at points thats why the dynamics were all over the place. But if you had hit them harder and more solid then the drums would sound bettter, because when recording its all about geting a loud consistent sound from your drums which will in turn sound the best.
NO point in hitting single drums quietly for a test recording, hit them at the level your gonna want to record them for a mix.
