Yea. I really don't need an external 80GB HDD for 70 bucks... I do have an external hdd that's 80gb already, but it's a 2.5" usb powered one that's actually handy... The firewire interface isn't going to increase speeds that much, either...

you'd be a lot better suited buying a big hard drive and an enclosure

i just saw a 500 gigger somewhere yesterday for 129 on sale *whistles*

pretty good deal on that mixer if it's for you

Agreed that does look pretty nice. The problem is, how many of us have no gear at all and need a complete solution? I guess if you don't want to lug around rack gear or a mixer it would be nice. I'd want a compressor at least for the main output, though, and that would ruin the one-piece-does-it-all factor for me... Now if this thing would also mount in a rack that would be somethin.

posted a thread about this in the mic forum, but this seems like a good place too:

audiomidi.com apparently is blowing out one of mshilarious' fav mics, the 3060. many places are still selling this for $400, but they have it at $259.63 and a free set of headphones!

that looks like a smokin' deal. i think there's now a 80% chance i'll be giving myself an early birthday present (and my birthday is in November). just got my tax return! it's burning a hole in my pocket as we speak... :D

happy birthday to me! haha, i can't believe myself sometimes....this is one of the most impulsive purchases i have ever made, except for that one time i blew like $650 on a bass cab that i hardly ever use,

but i really need a decent LDC, and this one might work out hopefully. looks nice, has a shockmount, and a free pair of cans. i couldn't help it!

hopefully it plays nice with the GT Brick i bought on impulse last month. :o

Cool. I"m tempted but I use my sdc's more than my ldc so I'm probably going to pass (but painfully). You'll have to let us know how it works out.

I'm starting to lose faith in the stupid deals... Well I guess if there was a good one every day i wouldn't be able to save money...

kinda funky again today, but it seems like you get a lot of shit for $16...

Wow the bass distortion pedal sold out... Maybe they didn't have very many... Soon we'll see what other random assortment of unimportant accessories they'll offer up next...

Man I was so right. 15.99 for 3x martin light acoustic strings, 12x medium martin picks, tumbler, polish and cloth. It's actually a good deal, but I've already got all that crap, and I use heavy gauge strings on my acoustic. Plus I'm very 'picky' about my picks. It has to be a dunlop nylon light grey (can't remember the size).

it's all about the Dunlop Tortex orange! (or sometimes yellow)

20 bucks for a 'keyboard bench'? is it worth it? i've kinda been wanting one of those...wonder if you can get em cheaper anywhere else?

They're not cheap normally. I'd say it's a good deal. I just ordered a drum stool recently, but I'm tempted to get one of these. They're awesome for guitar playing (oh, and maybe keyboard playing, too).

At least it's not some off-brand. Yamaha stuff tends to last awhile in my experience.

OK I talked myself into it, I was recording last night for awhile and ended up putting my computer chair in the kitchen and sitting on an uncomfortable little wooden stool (the computer chair was too big for my constant turning around).
