I'd say,...

Wait til the auction closes & find it in the dumpster at the end of the month!;)

This is why I always say; keep the music down! Neighbor complains; police are summoned and landlord finds a pirate radio station/casino in your apartment. It's happening all over... people never learn. :p :D

Yeah, but it would cost me at least $1000 in gas alone to get those back to Texas in a truck.:(

zee I'm surprised you don't want this thing... you could use it like a sampler. like, a really-expensive-at-one-time "analog" sampler. but really, I think A Reel Person will grab it. He's probably waiting to put in a bid of like $3.54 at the last minute.

I did, but not for long:
from "Star Trek: First Contact":
Data: She brought me closer to humanity than I ever thought possible, and for a time...I was tempted by her offer.
Jean-Luc Picard: How long a time?
Data: Zero point six eight seconds, sir. For an android, that is nearly an eternity.

That's a pretty serious collection of stuff!

Anyway, I'd evict him too!
Think of how much that costs in electricity just to flip on the power switch!

What the Hell was he doing with that giant set of reel recorders? Duplicating open reel?

All of those reel machines are players. They are set up, one by one, to run automated recordings for a radio station.
