cheapest site for mxl 603's ? ( need asap )

of course the 603's would act as overheads on the drums.... the beta 52 on kick, one of the 57's on snare... .... should i use the other 57 on high hat ?or between the small two toms... or the B1 between the small two toms, ... or the b1 on the floor tom..... all trying to be set up for modern / alt. rock music.
going into the digidesign 002 rack.

any advice on what technicly " should " go with what... conserning the toms.

IMO, the B1 sucked on toms and hi-hat... but try everything you've got and see what works best for you... I'd most likey just use two O.H.'s, KK, and SN mics and pickup the toms through the O.H.'s.
 
I'm a little late to chime in here but I got the factory matched pair of the 603s (in the case, w/shockmount and windscreens) from "ar-online" on ebay for $205, shipping included. Very friendly ebayer, quick delivery, and I even got to send back the first set for a replacement set because they weren't as "matched" as I liked. We even split shipping on the return. Highly recommended ebayer.

Possibly, but everything looked brand new, the box still had the factory tape/seal, and the case was sealed in plastic. Also both mics were in perfect working order, just not matched. It came in the case and shockmounts that are usually associated with factory matched sets.
My guess is that it's a QC issue at the factory, I don't see any advantage for the seller to take apart matched sets and replace the mics with non-matched mics.
