For short cash look into the Cobalt mics by EV at $49.00 they sound great! And they have a 57 type in that line..LOL at Gidge and Grip..

All I can say where do these morons live? I can truly see people from different countries would be willing to pay over $100.00 for a 57 due to availability but I see people all the time snagging them up for $80-100.00 used.$79.00 new, here in michigan everyday.Thankgod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
